  Introduction At Tangerine Kids, we believe children achieve their best when strong academic skills are developed alongside confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing. Our English, Writing and Positive Mindset program combines comprehensive English literacy, explicit writing instruction and positive mindset education to help children become confident learners and effective communicators. Throughout the program, students strengthen their skills in reading, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, speaking, listening and critical thinking, while developing the ability to write with clarity, creativity and purpose. Using evidence-based teaching strategies, including the Seven Steps to Writing Success® framework, we nurture children to become not only capable readers and writers, but also confident thinkers and compassionate young leaders. What makes our program unique is its integration of Positive Mindset. Through mindfulness practices such as journalling, positive self-talk and guided reflection, children learn to recognise and manage their emotions, build resilience, develop self-confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.
